Independent Digital Traffic and Demographics

The Independent Digital website has seen another consistent rise in users, according to figures just published from ABC Electronic (ABCe) – the online / digital arm of newspaper circulation auditors.

The websites attracted more than 2.3 m unique users, during October 2009*, with total page impressions for the month achieving over 30.7m both are up 4pc on the last audit.

Independent Digital is now ranked second highest in terms of Unique Users / Browsers, with over 2.3 million users visiting the sites. However, only 4 of the 15 sites in the ABCe Island of Ireland report have been consistent in carrying out regular audits in 2008 and 2009. Independent Digital is demonstrating leadership by being the only online news publisher that is consistently participating in the ABCe audit process.
