Independent Digital Grand Prix Awards 2010

The new award - 'The Independent Digital Grand Prix Award' was designed to recognise brand/marketing managers and the creativity and effectiveness of their digital campaigns.
Each quarter, six campaigns were shortlisted from thousands of campaigns that ran on Independent.ie throughout 2009. Industry peers then voted in their thousands for their favourite campaign on www.idworks.ie with the campaign receiving the highest amount of votes from each quarter going through to the Grand Final.
The criteria for judging the awards included the use of new formats, (e.g. video) how key brand messages could be built into the campaign in the most simple and innovative way, in order to engage consumers and in order to support or drive the brand's key messages being communicated via other traditional media channels.
When voting, Idworks users were provided with detailed information on the nominated campaigns, including the creative brief, campaign objectives and the online creative.
The awards gave brand/marketing managers a new level of visibility and recognition, while industry engagement with the awards surpassed our expectations considerably.
We are looking forward to running the Independent Digital Grand Prix Awards again in 2010.  Voting for Q1 will start soon, check back for more details.

What you can win for your brand in 2010!
The brand/campaign that wins the prestigious Grand Final will receive a presentation, certificate, and of course, the adulation and envy of their peers plus an advertising campaign to the value of €10,000 with the Independent Digital network of quality content websites.
